Journée mondiale de la jeunesse : "Rekonsilye Jenès" mobilise les jeunes autour du dialogue et de l’engagement citoyen
À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale de la jeunesse, la Coordination nationale "Rekonsilye Jenès" a organisé, ce mardi 12 août 2026, une rencontre d’échanges réunissant des jeunes issus de plusieurs secteurs de la société haïtienne autour de leur rôle dans la construction d’un avenir meilleur.
Placée sous le thème « Èske solisyon an se nan Rekonsilye Jenès la ? », cette activité visait à créer un espace de dialogue où les jeunes pouvaient exprimer leurs préoccupations, partager leurs idées et proposer des pistes de réflexion face aux multiples défis auxquels le pays est confronté.
Dans une ambiance conviviale et participative, des représentants d’organisations de jeunesse, d’associations communautaires, d’institutions et d’autres structures ont débattu de la crise multidimensionnelle que traverse Haïti. Les échanges ont notamment porté sur les responsabilités de la jeunesse dans la recherche de solutions durables, la promotion du vivre-ensemble, le renforcement de la cohésion sociale ainsi que l’engagement citoyen.
Les participants ont insisté sur la nécessité d’impliquer davantage les jeunes dans les processus de prise de décision et dans les initiatives visant à promouvoir la paix, le dialogue et le développement. Plusieurs intervenants ont également souligné que la jeunesse haïtienne dispose des compétences, de l’énergie et de la créativité nécessaires pour contribuer activement au redressement du pays, à condition qu’elle bénéficie d’espaces d’expression et d’opportunités d’action.
Les organisateurs ont, pour leur part, rappelé que la jeunesse ne représente pas uniquement l’avenir d’Haïti, mais constitue également une force essentielle du présent. Ils ont réaffirmé leur volonté de poursuivre ce type d’initiative afin de renforcer l’engagement des jeunes dans la construction d’une société plus unie, plus solidaire et porteuse d’espoir.
