Le regroupement politique acteurs favorables à la Cour de cassation et Alliés (AFC et Alliés) annonce le lancement d’une mobilisation démocratique et populaire sur l’autoroute de Delmas. L’annonce a été faite ce vendredi 7 août 2026, lors d’une conférence de presse tenue à Delmas 75.
Jean Fenel Thanis, l’un des responsables de la structure, a déclaré que le gouvernement en place n’a pas la légitimité nécessaire pour continuer à diriger le pays ni pour organiser les élections. Il a lancé un appel à la population à participer à cette mobilisation nationale, qui débutera le mercredi 12 août.
« Cette mobilisation se fera sans violence, pour réclamer ce que prévoit l’article 149 de la Constitution de 1987, à savoir le rôle de la Cour de cassation », a déclaré Jean Fénel Thanis.
