Vols entre Haïti et la République dominicaine : une reprise aérienne à géométrie limitée
Après près de deux années de suspension, les vols commerciaux entre Haïti et la République dominicaine reprendront officiellement à compter du 30 mai 2026. L’annonce a été saluée par le gouvernement haïtien, qui y voit une avancée importante dans les relations bilatérales entre les deux pays partageant l’île d’Haïti.
Dans un communiqué publié le jeudi 28 mai, le Ministère des Affaires étrangères et des Cultes (MAEC) a accueilli favorablement la décision des autorités dominicaines de l’aviation civile d’autoriser la reprise des opérations aériennes commerciales de passagers et de fret entre les deux États à partir de l’Aéroport international du Cap-Haïtien.
Selon la chancellerie haïtienne, cette mesure devrait contribuer à faciliter la mobilité des citoyens, dynamiser les échanges économiques et renforcer les liens humains entre les peuples haïtien et dominicain.
