4 cas confirmés de diphtérie dans le Sud, Le MSPP mobilise 18 000 doses de vaccins
Le Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population (MSPP) a lancé, du 25 au 29 mai 2026, une vaste campagne de vaccination contre la diphtérie dans trois communes du département du Sud, après la confirmation de quatre cas de cette maladie contagieuse.
Les communes concernées sont Roche-à-Bateau, Port-Salut et Camp-Perrin.
Selon la coordonnatrice du Programme élargi de vaccination dans le Sud, Dr Marie Wilnine Gaëtan, deux cas ont été recensés à Roche-à-Bateau, tandis qu’un cas a été enregistré respectivement à Camp-Perrin et à Port-Salut.
